With the kind support of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH (under the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy of the Federal Republic of Germany) and Export-Akademie Baden-Württemberg GmbH, BLawyers Vietnam’s representative participated in the “Partnering in Business with Germany” program from April to July 2025. This program included training sessions, company visits, and B2B meetings with German companies.
During the three-week stay in Germany, our representative proactively met with 11 law firms across six cities: Munich, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Cologne, Dusseldorf, and Heilbronn. Through discussions with their representatives, we established an initial framework for cooperation to serve clients from both sides in the following areas:
- Facilitating investment: We support German companies in investing and doing business in Vietnam, ensuring compliance with local regulations. We also provide comprehensive legal support for cross-border transactions and M&A involving German and Vietnamese entities.
- Enhancing trade relations: By collaborating with German law firms, we assist Vietnamese companies in understanding and adhering to German trade and investment regulations, such as the EVFTA, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and corporate sustainability directives. Additionally, we support Vietnamese companies with legal issues related to investment in Germany, corporate matters, and M&A.
This program not only helped us strengthen our connections and work on international cooperation with foreign law firms, learning from their professional practices, but also made us realize the many beautiful aspects of life, even in a foreign land.
